DLF : A leading real estate developer based in New Delhi, announced a sharp drop in its standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 16.65% to Rs 6,390.10 million from Rs 7,666.20 million in the same quarter, previous year.

Operating income declined marginally 4.12% to Rs 10,750 million from 11,211.90 million, while total income for the quarter rose 6.29% to Rs 13,628.60 million, when compared with the prior year period.

The company reported earnings of Rs 3.75 a share during the quarter, registering 16.67% decline over previous year period which was Rs. 4.50 .
